Unlike most convenient stores that sell diapers and milk, Kwik Stop sells typical convenient store items as well as packets of synthetic marijuana and SKS rifles.
The store remained closed after a heavily armed police SWAT team busted the store and arrested the manager. The six-month undercover operation has finally come to a close after citizens began calling in anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers.
Some of the items seized during the raid were various drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash, a Taurus 9 mm handgun and a total of 423 bags of synthetic cannabinoid. Detectives also discovered evidence that Mr. Sulaiman was conducting fraudulent transactions involving food stamps.
According to authorities, Ayman Sulaiman, 36, was arrested–with his seven young children present–and faces 17 charges, including possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of amphetamine and synthetic cannabis, and fraud involving food stamps. Although Sulaiman is arrested, authorities believe that there are still other suspects involved. Sulaiman was held in the Broward County jail on a $43,100 bond.
