The police officer who took the incident report noted that the victim had blood in his ear and some bruises along his neck.

Since the arrest, the principal was placed on administrative leave by the Archdiocese of Miami. What happens to him next depends on the outcome of the investigation being performed into the incident by the Miramar Police Department. The man was slated to face a judge shortly after the arrest.

The man was also involved in another altercation in 2018 after a student was expelled. It occurred on the road while both were driving as the student tried to cut the principal off and then tailed him in a parking lot. Once both were out of their cars, the former student punched the man, which prompted him to fight back.
